At first it seemed we were not desting to see this natural wonder of the world, we were in Las Vegas for 2 days and on the second day we were booked on a helicopter tour to the Grand Canyon. About half way into our helicopter tour our pilot turned around as he had word there was a storm rolling into the canyon. Don’t get me wrong, I love this time of year and all the festivities…sparkly lights, Christmas music and mulled wine, but the one thing I don’t like is the darkness.
