Following last year’s high in demand Coppa Club winter igloo’s the announcement of this year’s summer cabanas was a very well received one, but they had a lot to live up to!
After last week’s heatwave sadly the sunny weather did hold out until Sunday but that didn’t take any of the shine away from Coppa Club brunch experience. With panoramic views of the river Thames, the city skyline and the wonder that is Tower Bridge, there’s no competing with the view.
The outdoor cabanas themselves were so pretty, I’m talking botanical heaven, marble table tops and cute little sofas. Bloggers dream right there!
So, we didn’t just go there for the views and pretty aesthetics, we are all about the food. What’s there to say about the menu..? They’ve got a good selection of sweet and savoury dishes for everyone’s taste. I went for something a little different for me, the baked eggs and chorizo, while Tom went for classic smashed avocado on toast. Standardly they arrived and the waiting staff thought the bigger dish was for Tom! Does that ever happen to anyone else..? Ha, I hope it’s not just me!! Note to self: maybe I should consider ordering smaller dishes..? Or not!
Both dishes were lovely, the eggs were cooked to perfection and accompanied with delicious ingredients.
After a busy week and hectic Saturday I opted for a coffee to compliment my food and a refreshing carrot, orange and ginger juice. It was pretty special! One of the nicest juices I’ve had in a while.
Overall we had a fab time and are looking forward to our next visit. I can highly recommend booking for brunch or dinner. Be quick though, it’s getting booked up!
Has anyone visited the cabanas yet? What did you think? A little less cosy than the igloos but perfect for summertime.
