Do you ever find yourself feeling slightly overwhelmed by how much you have to do..? Or find juggling your work life and social life a challenge..? Well this was me last month, actually it’s me most of the time! But with several work deadlines to meet and a whole load of fun social events, not to mention life admin to attend to, it was a struggle to keep track of what I was supposed to be doing and who I was supposed to be seeing in July. If I look back it’s all a bit of a blur. Having a… View Post

The newest addition to The Ivy’s collection of all-day British brasseries – The Ivy Tower Bridge opened last week and I had the pleasure of visiting the sparkly new eatery. On Saturday I had the pleasure of visiting Fiz – one of the newest pop-ups in Soho. Taking residency in Lights of Soho until the 13th August, founders Barnaby Lewis, Max Bigland and Jordan Nadian bring a little taste of Barcelona to Brewer Street with London’s first sparkling wine bar. In recent years I have become quite a fan of Barcelona. Wondering the cobble streets from one tapas bar to the next is one of my favourite things to do while visiting. The hustle and bustle of the bars are so infectious, there is something so relaxed about their informal,… View Post

It was one of the most exciting and rewarding days but also a lot of hardwork, so worth it to have our own little pad and get onto the property ladder though. As many of us do, we wanted a Victorian property with original features. You know, the beautiful sash windows, high ceilings and pretty detail like cornices. But no one really tells you what can go wrong with beautiful old buildings like these. We’ve had a few surprises along the way, discovering dry rot 4 months… View Post
