European Cities I Love

European Cities I Love

With everything that has gone on over the last couple of days and the results of the EU referendum, it got me thinking about all of the European cities I love. There is nothing better than exploring new places, seeing new cultures and trying local food. So here are my top European cities I’ve been lucky enough to visit…

Venice Grand Canal

Venice

I have a bit of a love affair with Italy, mainly because of the beautiful landscape and amazing food. But, Venice is just one of those magical places. Every alleyway or bridge presents a perfect picture moment. You can read more about my trip to Venice here.

Prague

Prague

I’ve already described Prague as the fairytale city in my post here, but it’s truly amazing. So picturesque. This one’s also good to take the boyfriend to as they have pretty good beer!

Park Guell - Gaudi. BCN

Barcelona

I couldn’t write this post and not mention Barcelona. If you haven’t read my post about this beautiful place yet, then you must. It has all my top recommendations of places to eat to all the must-see sights. Barcelona has something for everyone, for the art lovers, foodies or someone who just wants to soak up some sun.

Lisbon

Lisbon

I’ve only spent a little amount of time in this city but, I loved what I saw. This is a city I need to go back to and explore some more, I only visited for a day while I was traveling around Portugal a few years ago. I’d recommend grabbing a bite to eat at La Pharmacia and watching the sunset if you ever visit.

Amsterdam canal

Amsterdam

This is my most recent city break, I’ve written a few posts about this amazing place already. A city full of beautiful cobble streets, culture and plenty of bikes! One of my favourite things about Amsterdam where the museums, I loved the Banksy and Warhol exhibition that was at the Moco museum when we went. And, I obviously went to the Van Gogh museum too!

Anyone have any favourite cities? I’m now busy planning my next trip to Paris so, if anyone has any recommendations I’d love to hear them.

Such a great places. have you ever been in one of the cities in eastern Europe? They are really pretty but not so popular, therefore not so crowded.
